Use prestashop only for donwloadable pictures

Hy everybody !

I am new to Prestashop and I have installed it for this pourpose.

 

I am working with Editors and Press redactors and I would like to create a platform where they can find certain pictures and, upon registration, download them in High resolution, free of charge.

This mean that I should:

load all the pictures and tag them

make them downloadable products

make the price = 0

 

is that correct ?

 

I have inserted 2 articles http://www.fratellicervi.com/pic/ for trial and :

1) I don't know how manage the quantity in stock ..and if it is 1 ..is not working ..if I write 10 ..is still not working ! ..finally the site tell me always that the product is not in stock .. Of course ..the picture should be always available

2) I would not like to show the price ..even if is ..0 ..

 

that's the first step .. I have read the white docs present in this site but I couldn't solve them !

Experiment with disabling stock management. If you want to use stock management just enter large, arbitrary numbers for each item. You can also hide the stock quantity displayed in product pages, under Preferences > Products
