GibbsEricJ
Hello everybody, On almost all of the demos of Prestashop that I have seen, when somebody hits Add To Cart, it virtually slides into wherever the shopping cart is. On the theme I am currently using, there is not a shopping cart list on the side for the item to slide into. There is only a text version on the top. This virtual display is partially why I chose Prestashop. When somebody hits add to to cart, all it does is change the text version at the top of the page. No imagery, it just updates the number. does anybody know what I have to do to have a Cart View on the side like most demos use, so that when my customers hit add to cart, a low opacity image of the product moves to it and it updates? Mike Kranzler
Hi GibbsEricJ, Not all themes may support the Ajax cart feature. Can you please post a link to your site where we can see this for ourselves? -Mike

Currently hosted on GoDaddy until we open to the public. Also, I will eventually be purchasing a better theme, rather than using a free one, so I suppose I need to make sure the theme I purchase can use the cart. In your Back Office, please go to the Modules tab and look for the Cart Block module. If you have it, click on Configure and activate Ajax Cart, and then clear your browser's cache, reload the page and let me know if that works any better for you! -Mike

Mike Kranzler
Installed. Enabled. AJAX Enabled. In that case, it unfortunately looks like this feature may not be supported by your theme. You may want to contact whoever developed this theme for more information. However, we do have a somewhat similar theme available for free which does support this (it's the same one you'll see in our online demo), so you may want to try it for yourself here as long as you're using version 1.4.5 or above. I hope this helps. -Mike
