Refund Payments

Prestashop 1.4.8.2.

 

I'm fairly new to Prestashop and still finding my way around. This question is about issuing refunds.

 

I am using the Sagepay iFrame module from Presto-Changeo. When a customer orders online (only testing just now), and pays via the Sagepay method, I can see the transaction in my Sagepay test account.

 

When I then refund the payment via backoffice, I would also expect to see the refund transaction in my Sagepay account. Unfortunately this is not the case.

 

Can anyone help me out with this?

 

Is there possibly a step I am missing with refunds?

 

Does something else have to be setup or configured in backoffice, for refunds to work correctly.

I am assuming you are not changing the order status to refund manually but going through the process:

 

- select checkbox for relevant item in order

- enter item quantity to be refunded

- select voucher/credit note option where applicable

- click refund button

 

 

If that is the case and refunds are not registering then the developer of the module would be in the best postion to help.

Yes, this is what I'm doing, and the refund is not showing within my sagepay account, so I guess there must be problem with the module or how I've set it up, although it's fairly strahtforward process. I'll ask the author for some support.

 

I had to ask the question here, in case I was doing something wrong in the backoffice. Appreciate your time.
