[SOLVED] Installed JBX Horizontal Menu 2.8.6 but Slider went to the right side

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I had been trying to figure this out the whole day with no luck.

Am hoping that someone can help me out here.

I installed the Horizontal Menu 2.8.6 module. It worked great, however, the slider went to the right side and I am not able to shift it back.

If I shift the Menu module to below the slider, it works fine, but of course, the Menu appeared after the slider instead of before the slider.

I read through all the issues on the forum but found no clue to my issue.

This is the URL to the page: http://www.abovecreativedesign.com/madanayoga/

Appreciate any help with this. thanks!

Linda.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your reply. I'm seeing the attached.

There should be 6 products showing too. What you see is just 3 and the blog has been cropped off.

I am using Firefox 13.0.1

Hi Linda,

Maybe I'm just not understanding your issue properly, but everything looks perfectly fine on my end:

Is this not what you're seeing? And if so, can you please point out the specific issue?

Hi Linda,

Please replace line 100 of your theme's global.css file with the following:

body#index #center_column_inner {width:1040px;padding-top: 500px;background:none;}

Then, clear your browser's cache, refresh the page and let me know if that works any better for you!

Hi Mike,

Thanks! It worked well and looked great on my tablet. But on my computer screen, I still see that the slider is still on the right side.

I have cleared Cache of my browser.

I have also made changes to the right column padding:

body#index #center_column_inner {width:1040px;padding-top: 500px;background:none;}

body#index #right_column {width:220px;padding-top: 500px;float:right;margin:20px 20px -60px 20px;position:relative;z-index:10;}

Attached is what I see.

Hi Linda,

I'm glad I could help! As for your tablet, however, you will need to contact the developer of this theme directly. Not all themes and modules are developed for mobile compatibility, and that is a bit of a more complex process, so you would need to speak with them about that.

Appreciate your help greatly. Thanks! Hear from you soon!

:)

Go ahead and try replacing line 452 one more time, this time with the following;

div#slide_holder {width:1040px;height:491px;padding:0px 0 0 0;position:absolute;left:0;top:245px;overflow:hidden;}

I hope this helps!
