KleanBBS
Note: Lots of questions here... Hello, I have a few books that I would like to add to my site, but for the 10th time of trying to upload them I sadly can not. It just sits there and does nothing at all, for over 15mins. I dont know if it is because its a pdf file or should it be a zip file? The files size is:198 MB (208,327,089 bytes) Shouldn't this be okay since the max is 256mb? Should I change something in the preferences or in ftp? Its werid because I have even tried smaller files and it just sits there and does nothing. I see that it says connecting. I have uploaded images with zip files and no problem but when trying to upload downloadable anything it does this. If it is the problem with size should I change the file type? Txt or something else? Also, is there a workaround like manually uploading it instead of waiting for this thing to act right?? Thanks in advance to whomever responds-I'm just hoping someone can help when they have time to! Any help or suggestions is great!
KleanBBS
Weird, went and tried it on internet explorer because I usually work on firefox (newest version) and I got a red highlight box with: This product is missing: .....public_html/download/3d2702e2f5a102b2186ce7e9e2b949c3e73d491c ???? tomerg3
I find the Chrome works best for using the BackOffice. Try uploading a small (1mb) file and let us know if that works.

KleanBBS
Presto Chango! You are brilliant! Thank you soo much I downloaded Chrome and I actually watched the upload bar which was down in the left hand corner all the way to a hundred percent( Let me tell you about 30 minutes) And it actually worked. WOW Relief. To think I thought I would never get it up and running! Also question I was checking out your site and the multiple upload could I use that for a huge pdf that I want to break off into lets say two downloads? I have one book which is a whopper and Its over 256mb. should I change the type of file or just get a new module to help with the uploading?? Again, thank you for helping--could not have figured it out. I wonder why it never worked on firefox and IE, makes me wonder if I should change browsers for good =)
tomerg3
Glad to hear it worked. I believe you contacted us on our site regarding our modules, we'll reply there. As for browsers, I normally use FF for the front office (just because I like they firebug), but you reallyu want to test your FO on all major browsers.
