scruft
Hi again guys, Hopefully a quick one, I guess I've chosen a setting wrong - when I compare two products on the front-end, it shows me features that are blank for both products (i have a LOT of features, and not all products require all features). Is there a way to only compare the features that the products actually have selections for? Thanks! Simon
Carl Favre
Hi scruft, Can you post screenshots of the two products you are trying to compare (front office + back office features)?
scruft
Hi scruft, Can you post screenshots of the two products you are trying to compare (front office + back office features)? Sure, Front-End: http://www.greeneskimo.com.au/PS_Forums/PS_Comparison_Front.jpg Product 1: http://www.greeneskimo.com.au/PS_Forums/PS_Comparison_Back1.jpg Product 2: http://www.greeneskimo.com.au/PS_Forums/PS_Comparison_Back2.jpg Features like "Phthalates" and "Depth" are both blank for the products, so I don't know why they'd show on the front end. Carl Favre
It seems nothing is selected in your back-office for Phtalates and Depth so it would explain why it is blank .
scruft
Hi Carl, Those two features don't have selections because they're not relevant to those items. Is there a way to disable certain features for certain categories?
Carl Favre
Ok so it is normal that both are blank . I do not know if there is a way to disable only for certain categories. Let me ask the PrestaShop developers .

scruft
Do you have a answer? I have the same problem. Not yet.. I think it's strange that it would display features that have no value - surely stores don't use every single feature on every single product?!
