Productcomments module not working

I just finished setting up the productcomment module (v 2.1) on my test site (Presta 1.4.7) and checking that everything worked. But when duplicating the module and installing it on the live site the module is not working:

 

What happens:

When saving a comment nothing happens, no error message (front end or with debug mode on), database table remains empty.

 

What I've tried:

Reinstalled the module

Reinstalled an untouched version of the module

Empty cache

Disable/enable

 

Other information:

The two prestashop installations are identical and are located on the same server. Thus I do not understand how the module can work on one but not the other.

Maybe the module and the untouched module has the same class name. You need to change class name in modified version of productcomment module.

 

It should be fine if you can post here these 2 versions. I assume that you put both these modules on your site.

There are inly one productcomments module on each site. If I successfully install a module on a site A that is a copy of site B the module should work on site B also. Very strange, there should be no variables here.
