martynj1980
Hi, I am almost complete setting up my web site and I would like to get some info on processing credit cards. I have set up an SSL and have an internet merchant account with my bank. I am looking at signing up with worldpay as my gateway but after reading and searching I have seen people have been having alot of trouble with the worldpay module. Does the worldpay module redirect you to a payment page? What I would like to do is allow people to enter their card details on my store and process them without them having to be redirected to another page, Is this possible? From your experiences what are the best options to allow me to do what I desire? Thanks

martynj1980
Thanks sickz. Does anyone know if worldpay have an option/api so I can host the payment page on my own server like paypal pro? Even if this would mean having to create my own module. Thanks in advance
Mister Denial
Hi there, I don't think Worldpay offers that kind of integration, because it would prevent PCI compliance. However, you can entirely customize the Worldpay checkout page, so it does optically fit in with your store. Worldpay has a really great reputation, so I am happy that my customers are redirected on their payment page, it builds trust. Most of us use standard SSL certificates, Worldpay has the funky green bar thing and state-of-art SSL. So I would not hesitate to redirect my customers to their page, it does not adversely impact sales. I have been working with Worldpay for 5+ years now, very happy with them. I also have been using the Worldpay module from the Prestastore, and while it works perfect now, it was a bit tricky to get it to work, it took several support interventions to get it to run flawlessly (the support guys were very helpful and fast to assist, did a great job!). So when you buy it, I would recommend buying it with the ready installed option, saves you time and hassle.
