jewellerysource
HI Everyone, This is my first website and my first post. I had absolutely no experience prior to starting this about three weeks ago. I still have some ideas planned and some more modules to buy.... Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. www.thejewellerysource.com.au
justdogwalking.com
First reaction its slow The descriptive text is not very clear on my screen - hard to read. I would suggest you need more exciting product descriptions - if you want me to spend $950 on a bracelet I would need more than a brief sentence. For my products which are only a few £'s I can have 2 pages (not saying you need that but a bit more of a come on would be good) The predominantly B&W visual effect is OK but again if you have products of around $1000 you need a visual impression that plays to that expectation. Hope this helps
halennoor
The pictures are quite nice. But when clicked the view full size of product, the image is smaller than the one on the product page. does it mean it is the ACTUAL size or supposed to show a larger display of the product. wendy@abc
Probably not what you want to hear, but your site is extremely slow to load - I'm afraid I gave up and didn't explore further. However I would reiterate that you need more of a product description. If you want me to spend that kind of money, you need to entice me more! A one-liner just wouldn't do it - I'm sorry. Having said that, I do like the theme - crisp and clear....
jewellerysource
Hi everyone, Wow great feedback! Everyone has made very valid points! I will be definately updating the descriptions of the Jewellery, it's just a matter of finding the time. My thinking was to get the stock on there first, then update them each one by one, this way I'll be always updating the website which is good for spiders. So I'll make updating the product descriptions priority 1. The Photos and zoom features I'll work on too. With the speed, I'll have to look into that, I saw some options in the BO for increasing speed so I'll start to research about this. Thanks once again for your advice. Much appreciated and thanks for checking out www.thejewellerysource.com.au All the best, Andrea. It take far too long, for me, to load I am in the UK on a 256kbps broadband connection 2. The paypal logo appears on every page 3. You need much more product text 4. You need to optimise the images to prevent slow loading. Nice products and great first attempt.
