Mephivio
Hi, i'm again evaluating CloudFalre Capacities for Prestashop (1.4.8) It seems to work well but i'm dispapointed for two points : . no plug exists for Prestashop : IP addresses for carts are those from CloudFlare and the real ones . admin : when you want to filter orders or to check orders or accounts on several pages, ths system doesn't work Positive is the speed : my website is working 2x faster minimum Team, Do you have any other experience with CloudFlare ? Do you know if there is a module to correct the troubles with the ip addresses ? Thank sfor your feedback Regards
Mister Denial
I'm interested in CloudFlare too and was considering signing up for an account. Could you please explain what issues you have with the cart IPs? 1) Do you mean the displayed IP is that of cloud flare, and not that of the shopper? That would be quite an issue for fraud prevention. 2) What do you mean by not being able to check orders or filter orders on several pages? Regards, Dan
Trip
There is a apache plugin to unveil the original ip adresses https://www.cloudflare.com/wiki/Log_Files This is working but anyway I tested cloudflare a couple of times ... now for 2 months. I noticed that the ratio of created accounts to ordes went negative although it was wise verser in the past. This might have other reasons but anyway.. yesterday I tried to login the shop as a customer and once again I was confronted with a orange cloud telling me that the service is unavaillable at the moment. So I can not recommend using it as lost orders are no option for me. I try another setup now with cloudlare where only media files are accelerated through another domain. Pagespeed sais it is not optimal as I need another dns lookup but now mediafiles come from a cookieless domain and hopefully distributed from cloudflare. As long as cloudflare does not provide statistics when and where these service unavailable errors occur I can no longer risk to loose orders without even knowing that there are problems existing. Best regards, trip
Mister Denial
Hi Trip, thanks for your explanation. I completely agree, lost orders are not an option. If you would be willing to share your experience with only accelerating media files on Cloudflare, I would be much interested in your conclusion. I also read somewhere that you can specify files or subfolders to be excluded by Cloudflare, have you tried excluding the cart.php and customer account files? Maybe that would avoid the error messages? All the best, Dan
