Tim The Bikeman
I just got a notice from Google of hacking on my website. how do they get in my site? We are writing to let you know that some pages from http://www.timberloftonline.com/ will be labeled as potentially compromised in our search results. This is because some of your pages contain content which may harm the quality and relevance of our search results. It appears that these pages were created or modified by a third party, who may have hacked all or part of your site. Many times, they will upload files or modify existing ones, which then show up as spam in our index. The following are some example URLs which exhibit this behavior: http://timberloftonline.com/jym-then-again-diane-keaton-pdf-free-ifile/ http://www.timberloftonline.com/history.php http://www.timberloftonline.com/prices-drop.php?id_lang=2 I think some of these are created in your software like the price drop. This search engine crap I just don't understand it, I like to tell Google where they stick their search engine. How do I even check my file to see if they are hacked? Mike Kranzler
Hi BIKE53, This sort of intrusion is not due to PrestaShop's own software, unless you downloaded some external modules from a source other than the PrestaShop Addons store, in which case we cannot make any guarantees. However, usually the issue is that the intrusion is in your FTP software, so I would urge you to change your FTP password immediately, and then you can start going through and trying to identify which files may have been edited. -MIke
