module configurator

no I don't think so! :)

but you don't need such a thing, just prepare a base template and reuse it every time you need, you can be inspired by looking at other modules codes,

no, this is not the way for vast majority of users. Prestashop guide is very poor on examples, therefore, if Prestashop developers can no provide a full and logical user manuals with extensive examples (like Joomla or Drupal), then they should provide at least good online module configurator.

yeah, I'm agree but if someone just can't figure it out to do that, then what he supposed to do with that module template? I mean since it exist even now; though with a simple search you can find some good tutorials about how to create a base module structure with ready files available to download! but the problem is after that which is not really documented at all, having an online module configurator could be beautiful but wouldn't help that much really, right now even many experienced developers aren’t aware of all the hooks explanations and usages (just saying as this little) since they aren’t explained completely anywhere!

All the way I hope they start to document things out really and reducing the pain and waste of time to discovering things individually!! :)))
