Tab cannot be found

I am trying to change the theme of my prestashop.

When Clicking on the tab Preferences --> Appearance I get the message "Tab cannot be found" (see screenshot 1).

When clicking on the tab modules I do not get an sub-tab "themes" (like it should be, right?) (see screenshot 2)

 

Seems to be quite a fundamental problem, but I cannot get any closer.

Hi dalacyklist,

It appears that you may be missing some files on your site. What version of PrestaShop are you using? Additionally, is this a new installation, or an existing one where this issue just cropped up?

I updated to version 1.4.8.2. Can you give me a hint which files might be missing? It is possible that some files got lost on their way via ftp.

I couldn't tell you without access to your site over FTP, which I can't do on here. I would recommend that you download a fresh copy of the software to compare the various files to see what you may be missing.
