Redirect directory map to home page in htacces

Hi,

 

I have found several 404 error codes from old module directory maps giving a 404 error.

 

Now i want them to redirect in htacces to the home page.

I tried several codes but they didnt work.

 

What code do i put in the htaccess to get this to work. And is the place put in the htaccess important?
