I generated a new .htaccess file and now I have problems.

 

I am unable to sign into by Back Office and I get the following error when I try to load my Front Office:

 

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /home/beaco11/public_html/presta/index.php on line 29.

 

I have searched through the forums but most of them are not in English and the ones that are don't solve my problem.

 

I have attached a copy of the index.php for you to review.

I really hope someone knows what to do. So far I am not happy with the response. Love the software but so far not please with the response to my problem. Not sure what the normal response rate is. If I could sign in to the front and back office I would be so displeased.

 

Right now I am dead in the water! Please help! I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times with no such luck. No idea why it won't work now.

I am happy to say I figured this out with help from my web hosting company - lunarpages.com. Even though my PHP Version is already 5.5, I needed to go ahead and "re-select" it again. Fixed everything just fine.

 

I would suggest doing that when you have issues - might help and might not. Love the program but PrestaShop needs to have someone that can help with these small issue. Just sayin!
