clairadams
Does anyone know how to correct the following? I have a website that sells schoolwear. I have a list of primary schools of around 40+. When someone clicks on the primary schools link, it displays a list of all primary schools which they can click on to view uniforms etc.. But at the bottom of the page it shows every single product for sale. I dont want this, i only want the products to be displayed under the correct school. Any help greatly appreciated

mim
I think you should change your product_list.tpl file
Groove
Hi Claira At a guess id say that when you have added a product to one of the primary schools you have ticked products Parent catagory checkbox(Primary Schools) aswell as the child catagory checkbox(actual Primary School). Chris Nope, this was the first thing I checked. I have ticked the parent and untucked again etc... But makes no difference. But thanks for the reply I think you should change your product_list.tpl file Any ideas what I'm looking for? If I knew what to look for in the tpl file it would be helpful. Thanks for taking your time to respond to my query

Thanks for taking your time to respond to my query I'm not sure about this but I think it should be right normally if you didn't change it before or as Groove said you didn't check the parrent categories , but as is not, I think you can try to change the theme and see if it works well with new theme tpl files (try default one), if it works as you want with new theme then you know what to do, just compare your theme template files with the other one (product_list.tpl, category.tpl ...) to find what's the problem; and if it was the same then you'll know that you have to search for it somewhere else, After all sorry if it dosn't work or I wasn't that helpfull, in fact I'm just new to prestashop as well and it is possible that there is an option or something that I'm not aware of for change this thing, but keep us updated anyway with the results and if the problem was in your theme file I think I can help you more to investigate on it and solve the probleme if it was in tpl files,
