Add new field in "Preferences"

Hello I come back in this forum to solicit assistance in development.

I want to add another field in the "Preferences" from the back office as the "

Gift-wrapping price ".

This new field should behave as the" Gift-wrapping price "and should appear at the same level as the latter.

This is to add another optional paid service to the customer order.

you would have to edit the AdminPreferences file in admin/tabs. After you review the file, you should be able to figure out how to add a new entry.

Yes it can be possible I don't know if the amount set in this new field can be added to the cat fee.

I find the administrationPreference file and I've made the changes. but I faith some problems. After this changes, nothing happens so I've try to change all files that contains the variable PS_GIFT or Wrapping_gift such as cart.php, pdf.php etc. In the front page the order process is blocked after Adress confirmation page.

 

I get a message that an error occured while updating your cart.

 

What can I do now?
