phrasespot
A couple of days ago I asked in this thread where was the source repository for about a dozen or so modules that were, according to the commit message, moved to another repository. It has been ignored so far. Licensor agrees to provide a machine-readable copy of the Source Code of the Original Work along with each copy of the Original Work that Licensor distributes. Licensor reserves the right to satisfy this obligation by placing a machine-readable copy of the Source Code in an information repository reasonably calculated to permit inexpensive and convenient access by You for as long as Licensor continues to distribute the Original Work. Currently the only way I can see the source code of those modules is to install the PS and then request and install those modules from a remote location. This is neither inexpensive, nor convenient. Please post the address to the source code repository for the modules distributed with the default 1.5 installation package but no longer available in 1.5 repository. guest*
The same problem I was having during installation of 1.5.0.13. On BO there were modules available, which when you click aren't available, because they didn't installed (don't know why). By trying to reinstall them from download package they weren't available (Google checkout for example). I'm totally with you: I think this new methode is not really optimal solved. What if the remote location is not working, or if you are blocking IP's (like I do with sandrine.prestashop.com bot) ?
jamestaylor
I have the same problem. I can't find the google checkout module who suppose to be in the download package. It's not on the download package and I can intall it. I think if Prestashop is open source every module or code suppose to be in the download package. My topic about this problem : http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/174189-cannot-find-google-checkout-module-in-the-rc1/ Thank you for help to see clearly in this situation.
