nivo slider

hey all. im pretty new to prestashop so if im asking some remedial questions i apologize beforehand. i recently purchased a template for a site that i plan on launching that included with it the nivo slider. the slider that came with the template is divided into two separate panels; one that showcases individual products and another that showcases a constant background image with information specific to the product sold (price, quantity, etc).

 

im looking to modify the slider so that its just one unpartitioned frame and just a series of individual images. ive looked around the modules panel and all that im at liberty to do it seems is change the leftside product picture. there doesnt appear to be any option to do away with the two panel approach and go with a single pane.

 

also, the template comes with some pre-defined categories. guys, girls, kids, gift certificates, and something else.

 

 

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. thanks so much.
