DenisDenis
I've recently noticed this annoying thing what seems to be a bug. It started recently, comming seemingly out of nowhere. I haven't installed anything or changed any settings lately. I'm running 1.4.0.17. It seems to be completely random that when I click on a link in my back-office (sometimes navigating, sometimes clicking 'upload' to add a picture,...) that I get sent to my homepage, i can just click back and do my action again, so it's not a reall problem it's just kind of annoying. Has anyone else had a similar problem or solution?
Mike Kranzler
Hi Denis, Is there any sort of pattern to when/how this happens? I've never heard of this, but if you give me a method of trying to replicate it I would be happy to look into it for you. -Mike

There doesn't seem to be a pattern that i could notice, it only happens when i click a link like navigating or uploading, anything that makes the page refresh or direct to another page. It's really hard to make it happen on purpose as it doesn't happen that much (the reason why its more an annoyance than a real problem) if i add 5 products it happens maybe once (not saying this is a constant, more an estimate)

DenisDenis
Who is your hosting provider? -Mike http://www.versio.nl/ Very content with them otherwise, good prices for good performance.
dave90
Hi, I've got the exact same problem. Also with Versio... It seems to happen totally random.
Mike Kranzler
Hi Denis and dave, Can you please both try contacting Versio? This is a pretty strange error, and since both of you are having it on the same host, hopefully they can look into the error logs to see if they can identify the issue. -Mike
DenisDenis
Thank you dave for confirming this, it saves alot of headache! Was kind of doubting because I never heard about anything like this, certainly not because of a provider. Thank you for your help mike!

You may want to consider switching hosting providers to something more in line with PrestaShop's needs. Personally, I would recommend BlueHost or HostGator. Happy selling! -Mike

I reviewed those 2 hosting providers you suggested and look very promising, but I am still very happy with my current provider. Quick, friendly support and extremely low costs for what they deliver in terms of speed! Again, thank you for your help!
