icekev
So i bought this Addon a few weeks ago , and i finaly decided to install it, hoping to reduce the paper work i normally do. I found this morning thats the addon is bugged. It does exactly what it shows in the page description, but once you click on the "Create CSV", there goes the problem. It give you a link to open, on which the CSV should be. The problem is that it doesnt give a csv file with all the information corded like it should be, but it give you a pile of text non classed. I do tried to save the file as a CSV file, but it havent helped any further. I have added 3 pictures of the problem. One shows what it give in a browser page, The other on Excel. The other one shows the link it creates when you do "Create CSV" I was wondering if its possible to solve this issue. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks alot ! Mike Kranzler
Hi icekev, Have you already tried contacting the developer directly via the "Send a message to the developer" button at the bottom of the page on the Addons store? -Mike

Vinum
I am the developper of that module which run correctly. If you don't contact us, we can't solve your problem. As indicated in the module description, it is necessary to open the file in UTF-8 format and to choose the ; for separate fields and " for text field. Like that your fields will be correctly formated. tips: Open the file with openoffice and not excel.

Vinum
Sorry. I was convinced that this help was in the module. But I'm confused with another module (export product to csv file). You are the first one to tell me that. Normally when you use openoffice, a windows appears and ask you that settings to open the file. I will add this help to the next update. Mike Kranzler
Hi Vinum, Can you please answer him here as well? While it's great that you're improving the documentation for your work, this user has already purchased it and needs that content in order to make it work properly on his site. -Mike
