Carrier and required fields on OPC

Hello, I have two small problems I need to get solved.

 

I want the mobile phone to be required instead of the home phone. How do I change witch is required ?

 

I only have one carrier but you still need to check the radio button to see the payment options, how do I make it pre-checked?

In the tag for the radio this line of code can be found

{if $delivery_option[$id_address] == $key} checked="checked"{/if}

But if I take away the if tags the radio is checked, but't it still tells me I need to chose a carrier since I haven't clicked on it.

Help with this would be very appreciated!
