PS 1.4.8.2 Default theme's Category's Image

dear All

i hv uploaded a category image of PNG format(size: 500W x 150H as indicated under the Preference-Image-Category-image size), but why each time i refresh my website, it is still showing the default Mac Book's photos?

how come my uploaded image is not presented?

pls assist...

Please give a link to your site, also the image size shown does not indicate the size you should upload but the size Prestashop will convert the image too.

Look in root folder/ img/ p and see if your image is there.

Also have you deleted all test pics and products as well as test orders.

thx for your followup assistance. here's the thing:

1) the website link has been PM for your ref. should you need any other access, do advise.

2) i hv looked into the directory public_html/img/p, the photo is not there. however i found that category photo in public_html/img/c, which does make sense, i found other category photos there.

3) nope, i hv not deleted those test orders, default photos etc that came in the initial startup of the program. i only use replacement method or disabling the display method. this is because, im keeping them for future reference.

pls advise what else could i do.

i hv tried refresh & resave etc. & retried on the next day basis, but still doesnt show.

hi mr tdr170,

surprisingly i found this catalog/image mapping feature, which i didnt know what is feature for, but once i disable all the default pictures display, my photo appear.

may be you could advise why is that so.

OOOps you are right it would be in /c not /p that is for products.

If you wish to keep the images download them to a backup folder on your computer and remember those images are always in the original download of Prestashop.
