maxmin Posted April 21, 2009 Share Posted April 21, 2009 As the title said, it is a great convenience for the shop owner to have major shipping carriers’ (such as FedEx, UPS, etc) API hooks included in the PrestaShop so that the shipping cost can be automatically calculated in a real-time manner and accuracy. Currently, I have to set up shipping costs for weights and destinations, e.g. UPS Ground, manually and it’s a real pain in the ass. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

maxmin Posted May 4, 2009 Author Share Posted May 4, 2009 and how do you do that? i want to define shipping costs to weight intervals, i.e., from 0 to 0,5 Kg -> x€, 0,5 Kg to 2 Kg -> y€how do i do that, do you know?cheers mate In the back office, click Shipping, then 1) click Carriers to add/set your carrier(s), e.g. Company: UPS Transit time: Ground Tax: No Zone: US etc.2) click States to enable which states3) click Countries to enable which countries3) click Zones to add zone(s)4) click Weight ranges and add all different weight ranges, e.g. UPS from 0.01lb to 1.01lb UPS from 1.01lb to2.01lb etc.5) back to Shipping, under Fees by carrier, geographical zone, and ranges, select your Carrier and it will show Zone/Range, fill in price to each box under each range.
