tudorart
Hi guys! So this is a new shop. Aside from installing a new theme not many changes have been done. Version PrestaShop™ 1.4.8.2. I set up all my categories and subcategories and got to the product creation stage. On the product page, back office, I can't expand the default "Home" category. I can only check the box but does not expand down to show me all categories created. Any ideeas? All categories created have the "display" box ticked and show on the site. tdr170
Try downloading the SVN and get a complete new set of Administrator files. http://www.prestashop.com/en/developers-versions
tudorart
Hello, same problem for me: please help us!! Thanks It might be a browser, operating system or ISP...security software /hardware issue. IDK exactly but will report later after trying to log in from different systems and ISP. It seems to be working just fine over at technical support for my hosting company...they've sent me a screen shot with all categories expanded and boxes ticked. However I don't know what the problem is as of now. I run 64bit win7 on optic fiber and had problems before with certain "security protocols" or smth like that and had to call my ISP to resolve the issue. Will let you know! tdr170
Just had a similar issue with a test site after updating with my actual online shop files, the online shop BO worked fine. So I started uploading each folder 1 at a time to find the issue, so I uploaded a complete new admin folder no change, uploaded a complete new classes folder no change. So I decided to look at the files in the config folder to see if maybe a setting in one of the files was wrong but the strange thing is that there was an xml folder inside the config folder that was not in the original, it had two files inside named 1.4.7.0.xml and 1.4.7.3.xml or something like that. I decided to reupload all files except the settings.inc.php as the info inside was correct, I then deleted the xml folder from inside the config folder and now the categories are all shown and I can move products around. look for something like this in your files. I hope this helps. Edited July 10, 2012 by tdr170 (see edit history)
