joachim.niclasen
Hi there I suddenly ran in to this problem today: Usually all my products show on my index page but they have now disappeared. I have the Advanced Search 4 module installed but nothing happens when I try to filter. Actually it seems like something is wrong with this module - it seems almost "dead". Another one of the modules I have installed myself are gone too. So I tried to have a look at the configuration of the Advanced Search 4 module but found out that I can't access any module. The "modules tab" works fine. The problem is when I try to access any of the filters. I get a 404 error no matter what module-filter I try to access. Before this happened I did make a few changes to some of the Prestashop-files but I can't see that this should be the problem. (I made a little change to the blockpaymentlogo.tpl file by adding some new logos). Could it be a hosting problem...? I really hope that someone can help here! Mike Kranzler
Hi joachim, It's possible you have too many modules installed for your hosting to handle. Please try removing some unused and unneeded modules via FTP and let me know if that works any better for you in the Back Office. -Mike
joachim.niclasen
Hi Mike Thanks for replying some quickly. I removed 30 unused modules but unfornunately the problem persists.
Mike Kranzler
Hi Mike Thanks for replying some quickly. I removed 30 unused modules but unfornunately the problem persists. And the modules are missing in the Back Office under the Modules tab, correct? -Mike
joachim.niclasen
No they are not missing. At least I don't think so. The problem is when I get to the modules-filters (see attachment). When I try to access for example "administration" I get the 404 error - page can not be shown

joachim.niclasen
@Mike Yeah sorry I must have forgotten. The attachment just shows where it all goes wrong. @Golan I will contact my host. Thanks. The second part I didn't understand.
joachim.niclasen
My hosting already has a 128mb memory level so apparently that's not the problem.
fazer6
I'm having the same problem. I just upgraded manually to 1.4.8.2 and everything worked, except the modules tab is showing nothing. I've contacted my host and I've altered php.ini in my root folder to have 128M memory. Currently deleting modules by ftp but the modules tab isn´t showing anything yet. I have deleted my smarty cache too.
joachim.niclasen
fazer, that reminds me that I actually tried (automaticallt) upgrading yesterday. The upgrade failed so I didn't give that too much thought. But something probably happened there... Have you tried to roll back your upgrade, fazer? Or restoring from a backup? fazer6
I didn´t copy across the autoupgrade module when I installed so that wasn´t showing anything when I downloaded the files. To be honest I´m not overly bothered about the modules right now. My shop is live again. My homepage text editor had the default picture of the phones so I just deleted that section in the live editor. For the time being I think my shop works. I just can´t see or alter any modules. fazer6
It´s back now. I just kept on deleting modules till it apeared. It´s quite hard as you dont know what the modules are just from filemanager so I had to google a few. Payment modules and shipping modules like TNT or UPS ones are easy to delete if you´re not using those.
fazer6
When you google modules tab not showing everyone seems to solve it by increasing their memory or deleting modules, or a mixture of both.
joachim.niclasen
Ok thanks... I will try to delete even more modules.
apprentice
Hi, Anyone found a solution here? I am having the same issue apparently from around the same time (June 2012) but I just realised now about this, I am deleting modules from FTP and my Memory limit in php.ini is 128M but still I can't access the modules drop downs. Moreover, at the end of May 12 I installed a newsletter module that I can't uninstall now because I can't access the modules individually. I deleted the folder from the site through FTP but the module is still showing up, it is in a subtab in the Employees tab. Can anyone provide the solution if you found it? Thank you
apprentice
Solved: I had the 'js' folder misplaced (for some unknown reason) and incomplete, so I downloaded the 'js' and 'themes' original folders form http://code.google.c.../downloads/list and replaced them. ps, I don't know how to edit the title to indicate it is solved Edited August 22, 2012 by apprentice (see edit history)
benjamin utterback
Hello Apprentice, Have you called your Hosting to confirm that your memory limit has increased as you have set it in the FTP? Take a look in the Modules tab and try and delete as many as you can, that you don't use or need. I hope this helps! Thank you! Sincerely, Benjamin
