Already registered double password problem in opc

Recommended Posts

Dear sirs,

I have a problem after my forced switch to opc ( i had 5 step but because of bugs there in guest checkout i had to switch to opc)..

Now when people who are already registered get 3 lines to fill in ( see attachment)

1 is email,

2 and 3 are password, where if you fill in only 2 you get an error, while only filling in 3 will work..

Please help!!!

hey mike,

www.milaglimm.nl

(to be clear it has nothing to do with the length of my translation for password, i already tried that,, what it says in dutch now is: please fill in, in the second line.. this is to prevent customers getting annoyed which they most likely already will be when they see something like this)

What version of PrestaShop are you using? I would like to run some tests on a local environment to try to identify the root cause.

Hi mike,

Server gegevens

PrestaShop versie: 1.4.7.0

Server gegevens: Windows NT build 7600 (Unknow Windows version Standard Edition) i586

Server software versie: Microsoft-IIS/7.5

PHP version: 5.3.3

MySQL versie: 5.1.53-community

Hope that helps cause its really annoying.. Dont know if you saw my reply in the post about switchting to the opc? Because my guests werent able to pay in the 5 step checkout.. i think it was you who advised using 1 page, but its only a work around and not a solution since I prefer the 5 step i think im limited right now.. could you check that post as well? Maybe there is a solution now?

Hi barto,

What exactly was the issue with 5-step checkout?

-Mike

Visitors who tried to check out as guests, got stuck in a loop and could not pay.. so i got the advise to use the one page checkout instead, but so far im not really happy with this..

Any news on solutions?

I'm looking at this, but I couldn't give you a specific fix without access to your files (which I cannot do here), as it appears to be due to one or more files in your theme's directory. I would recommend you look into your order-opc files to see if you can find anything there that could be leading to this issue.
