jobewan
Hi, I am using the default template in PS1.4. I like its simplicity, but there's a big white space at the top of the Home Page whose height seems to be governed by the height of the store logo at the top left (see attachment). Is there some way to use this area built into PS1.4, or is a module or custom hack required? Many thanks. tdr170
Took a look the space is due to the height of your Logo, you could create a full width logo and have the search, account info and the permanent links below, between the header and the page something like this. To do this you need to create a logo 980 x 140, after uploading you will need to edit several css files starting with global.css change #header_logo width to 980. Now the other files are blockpermanentlinks.css, blockuserinfo.css and blocksearch.css you will need to edit the margins and maybe even add some to get things just where you want them. As you can see from mine I have added a home link changed the colors of the icons and added Search Entire store to the search which disappears once you click in the search bar. If you like this idea and need help let me know I will be glad to help.
jobewan
Thank you - most kind to offer. We will have to see - I am not the only one that would have to approve a change to the logo.
