Intégration d'un plugin jquery

Bonjour,

Lorsque je veux intégrer le script suivant dans mon header.tpl, y'a tout qui bug et une page blanche s'affiche :

   $(function(){
       $("div.foo").carousel();
   });
[removed]

C'est pour initier un plugin jquery (un carousel)

Pourquoi ça plante ?
