Slideshow shows on all pages when hook position "top" chosen

I purchased the Slideshow module a few days back.

 

I want it to display just under the top navigation bar on the homepage of www.scrunchh.com.

 

However, when I choose the hook position "top", the slider shows on all the pages.

 

(I disable the current static homepage banner and carousel when i do this)

 

Could you tell me how to display the slider only on the homepage where the current static banner is on www.scrunchh.com?

in yout tpl file put

in the first line

and close in the last line

The problem with doing this, is that the module is still called, so all the javascript, html or php is still being parsed on the page, which will slow it down., it's like using display:none in css, its still there just not displayed.

 

Why not hook it onto the home hook and use css to position it where you want, then it will only be displayed there.
