Upgrade Problems by 1.3.7 to 1.4.4

Hi everyone,

 

i have just tried to update our 1.3.7 to 1.4.4 Prestashop. Unfortunately it has shown me following:

 

Your shop version is now 1.4.4.0

Unfortunately, 474 SQL errors have occurred.

 

A lot of errors are Tables doesn't exist and so on.

 

Will be very thankful for every help!

Thank you for your feedback, upgrading PrestaShop has never been easier since we released the 1-click upgrade feature.

 

I hope that you've made a backup before launching this upgrade procedure.

 

First of all the best thing to do is to download the autoupgrade.zip file here:

http://www.prestashop.com/download/autoupgrade.zip

 

Restore your original database/site, install this module in your Back-office and launch the upgrade process accordingly to the documentation.

 

If you are still encountering SQL issues, this is probably because the version in your config/settings.inc.php is not your current version (The 1-click upgrade tool will attempt to detect this issue automatically).

I see the autoupdate module works from Prestashop 1.4.0.1. I have installed Prestashop 1.3.1. Is possible to update with this module to Prestashop 1.4.8?

Hi fellows,

 

i managed to upgrade the shop to the version 1.4.9 with some changes, that i did manually:

- Modules, Temlate, Images

- "position" column copied from "ps_category_lang" to "ps_category"

In addition I can mention that in case if you need to upgrade quick you can use Cart2Cart migration service. It transfers product and order/customer data. But you will have to make some customization after that since they doesn't migrate design.
