Item Pricing Tab - Specific Pricing for Each Customer Group

I have 2 different categories.

1. Display products for with normal pricing

2. Display products with a standard rate of pricing

 

I want to be able to assign a customer to a specific Customer Group and then assign that customer group different prices in category 2.

 

Im trying to configure the "Prices" Tab so that a the X customer group gets $2 off this particular item.

Then configure another item so that the X Customer group gets $4 off this particular item.

 

However, the in the front end, when logged in with a customer assigned to X customer group, the price changes do not display?

 

Any help with someone who has used this before would be great!

You do not say how you are trying to achive it, but this should be possible (in 1.4) by using group discounts (% only) and placing customers to relevant groups. Make sure to clear cookies and browser cache before you login as a customer in discounted group.
