coyoterunner
Hi, I am having an issue with one of the default products that was in the shop when I installed it. The shure earbuds are somehow stuck in the catalog. It shows up in my product feeds etc but not in the catalog. I tried searching for it and can not find it. Another poster had a similar issue and was told to go to the john doe order and mark it as shipped. I did that and still the item remains. How else can I delete this item as it is causing some issues with my feeds. Thanks
MEG Venture
I know that you mark them as shipped but I guess you need to get in the John Doe order page and cancel the products ordered.
coyoterunner
Hi caglar I tried that also and it did not help. I think the problem is that it is still stuck in the catalog and no longer assigned? But I have no clue how to get to it to get it out. I tried searching for it and it comes up as no product found.
MEG Venture
Did you try to clean from the mySql database directly?
coyoterunner
Hi cragar, I thought about that also. But I am not experienced enough with SQL. Last couple of times I messed with the database I crashed the shop and had to reload.

coyoterunner
Thanks I will try and call support this week. Maybe they know what to do or I can pay someone who is experienced in SQL.

Please try yourself and let me know to give you a quote if you still need paid support . Regards.
coyoterunner
Hi Caglar, Ok so I decided to take your advice and went into the DB. I actually found the item and it sure enough was stuck there and not linked to any category or anything. That was probably my fault on that. Anyway I deleted it and the site is still up. I did actually make a backup of the DB first. Also I took the store offline and went to catalog mode while I did this. Thanks for your help. I do have another issue with getting the merchant feed to do it's cron job. If i can't figure it out I will let you know and see if you have any thoughts.
