uploading CSV file for Products

Hi

 

On a new shop I am creating using Prestashop for the first time, we will be uploading several thousand products using CSV files.

 

Many of these will have quantity discounts, these discounts may vary by product.

 

We are just setting up the CSV file - in what fields would we show the appropriate quantity discount? I can not see an obvious way to set this up so that the upload takes care of the pricing.

Got to say I am having a nightmare with this csv upload for products for PS 1.4.8.2 ......template links invalid on csv import page, followed youtube tuturials and im working in excel but installed open office as a back up plan.

 

Save to csv and Im thinking its laid out right as I am reasonably familiar with csv uploading using other cart shops. I am receiving upload successful message but then I am not seeing the data laid out for me to assign header details correctly.

 

Surely we have some helpful people out there who can solve this issue for newcomers to prestashop
