reeze
Forgot to add - the same paypal settings are currently active and work fine on the oscommerce cart (offers both options) so I know the error is not with Paypal codes
Alt100
Try this. Click on the "Modules tab" then "Payment & Gateways" scroll down to the paypal module and click "configure" and then ensure that you have the credit cards button ticked. hope this helps

Alt100
I think I've got it now as I've just tried it on my website and get the same options as you. When you click "I confirm my order" it redirects you to the Paypal website where you should be given the option to pay by credit card or your paypal account. Try it, your order isn't processed until you enter details into paypals website.

Make sure that the first line that says: Sandbox mode (tests): is set to "Inactive" I had mine set to "Active" and thats why I why getting the same message as you did.
