confusedcart
Hi guys, Okay, so have a top header drop down navigation for a sunglasses store. Now i have MEN and WOMEN and when you hover around it a list of BRANDS show up for each of these categories. So it's ARMANI, YSL, DIESEL, GUCCI.. It's not being displayed alphabetically -- it's displayed according to category ID number. How do I fix this ?? I need the list of BRANDS (subcategory) in alphabetical order. Please help me any geniuses out there!!
Mike Kranzler
Hi confusedcart, You actually need to reorder them in your website's database in this sort of situation. -Mike
confusedcart
Mike, that sounds like a heavy job How do I do that though so that it can stay AUTOMATICALLY arranged every time I list a new brand. I;m using latest version 1.4.8. It's such an advanced amazing cart I can't imagine that there isn;t a way to sort alphabetically without database intervention. Like maybe a quick code adjust?? Mike Kranzler
Hi confusedcart, At the moment, this is not something that has been developed for the PrestaShop core. However, a few users have provided their own contributions to get around this, you can find them here. I hope this helps. -Mike
