deadsea Posted May 29, 2012 Share Posted May 29, 2012 I don't have SSL installed so I can not enable XML callback as google requires SSL, but there must be an option to accept Google Checkout without SSL is it? I have upgraded both PayPal module and Prestashop from 1.3 right up to 1.4.8.2 and it has never worked. I would stress though that I have never enabled SSL as my customers go off my site tp PayPal or pay me via PayPal virtual terminal by telephone. If I thought it would rectify this problem I would pay for SSL but I have already spent over £200 trying to resolve this problem over the past 18 months. I am at a point where if more money is needs to be spent on a "maybe fix it", I may as well get another site made with some guarantees. I really love Prestashop and have got quite a few other people to build sites using it, but ironically its mine that does not work properly. Frustrated Hi hippooflove, What version of the PayPal module are you using currently? There were a few reports about this sort of issue, and we did fix it within the module itself. hippooflove Posted June 14, 2012 Share Posted June 14, 2012 Hi Mike I do not believe its to do with the PayPal Module. I am now using 2.8.7. But it was the same with the last least the last 3 PayPal modules. The problem probably lies within the checkout process. On top of that I am using 2.8.6 in my other store and that appears okay. this was the paypal module i used in this store until last week and it does not work correctly. Thats why i thought it would be good to scrap my 2nd store and transfer everything over from Homestead and Garden as that works okay. If only I could do that I would. I'm using 1.4.8.2 with SSL and I used google checkout Real mode and after the customer made the purchase I did not get any order in BO. I actualy got an email from google checkout that I have an order. Ok now I try to use sandbox mode to test to find the problem, but I get the message after i click Pay with Google...oops! What can be the problem? I double checked the merchant # and the key and they are fine.(sandbox) I also tried to download the google checkout zip file from the other post (with .htaccess file) and still same result. http://www.prestasho...ce-the-upgrade/ =============================== Update... I recreated the sandbox seller google checkout account (https://sandbox.google.com/checkout/sell/orders) and retried and Sandbox mode worked!! and also created an order in BO after finalizing the payment.
