andriansuwito
Hello, Our company is running an online website http://www.3gstore.de and our main server is located in German. We have been doing some website optimization techniques (namely Gzip compression, reduce HTTP requests, add expire header, apply some caching methods, and so forth), but our site speed is still on average 10seconds (and that is super slow). Eventhough, we scored pretty awesome performance rating in YSlow (score: 86, , and google page speed test (94/100). I presumed that it might have something to do with our sophisticated .htaccess rerouting, and possibly because of un-necessary rerouting we have in the router algorithms. As a result our site performance in webmaster went down like crazy! Any suggestions on how to improve the our site performance will be muchappreciated! andriansuwito
After a short dive on Google Analytics, I found that actually our site server response time (8.85 sec) is really slowing everything down after we relaunched with new website. Even worse statistic using webpagetest (www.webpagetest.org) when it takes 10seconds before it started rendering the page. Is there any suggestion on how can we improve the server response time? Thank you in advance! Edited May 29, 2012 by andriansuwito (see edit history)
