Upgrading causes customer accounts to be inactive

I've made 2 clones out of my Prestashop 1.3.2.3 in order to try the 1.3.7 version and 1.4.2.8 latest version. after upgrading both clones via my hosting's Installatron, both are having issues with customer accounts become inactive. at the frotend, the error message is "Your account is not yet activated".

 

and at the backoffice > Customers > Pending, it will show Bad SQL Query. and i tried to view each customer's profile and pressed on the Validate button, next page will display :

END

 

Any clue on what went wrong during the Installatron upgrade? Or how i could fix this issue?
