I just had this massive long email come through.

It looks like it is a copy of an email that is sent out to new customers when they sign up and make an account.

But there is all this html code inside this email and it is a total mess.

I am not 100 % shure but for me it looks like like the code for an Base64 encoded image. Maybe it is the code for the shop logo.

prestashop sends emails in html and plain text. Images are encoded in Base64 format. So it looks normal to me. If you want to change it you can goto preferences/email settings and use plain text.
