[SOLVED] Custom Customer Details Fields

[Essex Dog Supplies]

When customers register on my site, I want them to fill in some more details. How do I add extra/custom fields?

 

Example:

I already have Name, Address, Post Code

I want Dog's Name, Dog's Birthday

Go to translations tab and change the field label for Date of Birth to Dog's birthday. You can do the same for additional information field label and change it to Dog's name.

I've mamaneged to change date of birth to dogs birthday, but now it only comes up with the earliest date as 2002. Implying that you have to be 10 to register on my site. How can I change this?

 

I couldn't find additional information field under identity. Any ideas?

earliest date as 2002

There has been a post dealing with this exact issue a while ago (a childrens' clothing shop I think it was). I had replied to it with a fix. Search and post again if you cannot find it.

I have found something but it depends on what version of PS you have and it doesn't look exactly the right thing I'm after. Can you help me with the right files etc to overide this? Sorry and thanks
