Where to install on shared hosting server

I have a hosting package with 1and1 which I've had for a few years and it hosts several domains and each of these domains has its own root folder. I've uploaded prestashop and installed it to one of these domains and all the folders etc are in that domain's root folder but to access prestashop front office I have to type the full url including the root folder name, same with back office by adding admin folder name.

 

I am completely new to Prestashop but I know that I have obviously done something wrong or something needs to be moved or configured and I hope somebody can help me please. I'm starting to tear my hair out!

Please ignore all of the above, I'm having a senior moment. I hadn't configured the domain settings properly duh!

for any user other user, install in the domain name directory. If you dont have other domains, install in public_html or www to install in the root directory
