Starting Prestashop - newbie here need help

I have zero website creation experience.

 

First off, you really should consider hiring someone to develop your store since the above is the case.

 

That aside, it sounds like you need to delete the index.html file on the root of your server.

 

After that delete the folder you created named 'shop' and all of its contents.

 

You should then be able to navigate to your store using your URL.
