How to show Categories block & Filter navigation block in the home?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have installed a template and I want to know how can I show the categories block and the filter navigation block (both are modules included in the template) in ALL the pages. Actually it appears in all the pages but in the home page.

I have noticed both can appear in left column and right column, but I can't find a way to configure only my homepage.

Here you can see that the right (or left) column is not present in the home. How can I enable it?

This is the left column I want to show in the homepage too:

Thanks

PS: I think this post must go to "integration" forum... sorry

I have contacted him, but he is charging me if he does this modification. I can delete the link and make this question in a more generic form...

Making the question generic isn't the issue. I was suggesting that you contact the theme developer because it is his work, so he knows it better than anyone. You can always try using PrestaShop's Live Edit function in the Back Office under Modules > Positions to move different modules around, but I couldn't tell you for sure if it won't require custom coding because I'm not familiar with this specific theme.

Thanks Mike,

I'm trying to explain it better. Is there a way to include some modules in the homepage too? Where can I add a hook to those modules in order to appear in the home page?.

I have opened both index.php and index.tpl but there's nothing there. (inside the theme's folder)

I must edit the module .tpl file to include it in the home?

I'm trying to acces the developer documentation but it is not active.

Thanks Marty, I am familiar with HTML and CSS, but I don't find the correct place to "add" the left column. As I said, the index.php and .tpl doesn't have anything to change, so I'm looking for the file(s) to modify.

Maybe adding the "home" hook in those modules?
