How do i edit the background of my site?

Im just wondering if anyone can please tell me how I change the background of my site? I don't like the white "blah" background. as you can see at my site.

 

I would like to make my sites background look like this amazing website.

 

I know it can be done. but i just dont know how??

oh not sure if it matters or not but im using the cool putih free theme.

edit the css of your theme, and in the section body{ }

 

you can change with

background: #0000 url(../img/yourbackgroundimage.jpg)

 

this is an example for color in black and a image, yoou can found on google more examples
