[SOLVED] Redirect to log in page, nothing works...

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I'm using the 1.4.8. Prestashop, but i encounter the redirect to login page bug when i try to acces the backoffice after i've uploaded the files from my local apache server.

I've tried anything i found on the fora (changed the cookie.php, login.php, init.php , got a different password and so on) but still no acces. It just redirects me to the login page over and over again.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Thanks!

Regards,

Mark

Solved!

I found the problem in the mysql database, in ps_configuration, there are 2 files PS_domain (or so) and PS_domain_ssl. These were pointing to the wrong domain....

works fine now :D

Hi,

I have same problem. Can you please give more hands-on, on how to resolve this, since I have same problem. I have tried to change the name of the folder in which prestashop is, and after doing so I got same problem. After successful login I get redirected to the login page again.

Thanks,

Hi,

I have solved it.

This is what happend with me:

After installing testing shop on my laptom (http://77.77.242.43:8044/Prestashop/ba/), I've decided that I want to place PS in the root folder so I do not have /prestashop/ in the link.

I've tried just to copy paste everything, but it did not work. So I set it back the way it was and just changed the name of the folder from prestashop to 'TabletZaSvakog'. I made something wrong (forgot to changed it in the configuration) so I could not get to admin at all. After this I changed everything to the way it was before, but that is when the problem started with redirecting me always to the login page.

After trying every advice on the forum (and there are quite a few of them), nothing worked for me. No double entries in the ps_configuration table, tried forcing the code in the login and init.php files, tried changing settings.inc.php file, moving .htaccess etc., but...

Until my firefox chrashed, and I opened chrome. And it worked! So the result was obvious. The problem was not with the Prestashop, but the browser that made changes, and never set it back to the previous state.

All I had to do is clear cache, cookies, and browsing history on the firefox, and everything was back to normal.

Thanks,

you don't have to update the mysql database.

you can update these fields by setting the correct url's in back office-->SEO & URLS

scroll down (they should be at the top)

put in your domain names for http and https (SSL) if you do not have SSL leave this alone
