Install fails at step 3

 

I have downloaded latest version of prestashop_1.4.8.2 and uploaded it to our servers and run the install program. Everything checks out ok in steps 1 and 2 and I have green ticks for everything.

 

However when in section 3 I try to upload a replacement logo of the correct size The Ajax spins and continues to spin and nothing else happens, program freezes.

 

I have tried 3 times and have even skipped the uploading of the logo section only to get stuck on the next hurdle which is that I am continually being told that the email address I provide is not valid. Even though it is the same email used in section2 of the install program to send a test email to the address which it did successfully!

 

Any help would be much appreciated.

 

**Have just installed earlier version (prestashop_1.4.7.3) This installed without any problems. There must therefore be a problem with the latest version of prestashop install program.**
