anthonyhull
Hi, I am brand new to Prestashop and only came across the website recently. I may have a freelance job whereby the client wants to create a better "look" for his existing site: http://www.toolhireascot.co.uk http://www.toolhireascot.co.uk/product-range/ I was thinking about choosing a nice template from somewhere but integrating into an ecommerce platform for the category/product management. Even though he doesn't actually sell anything right now, he's just listing the names of products, but he may eventually do so. Would PrestaShop be suitable for this, e.g to have a nicer front end template design, as well as showcase his products and categories? He doesn't mind paying for a suitable template that looks good. Many thanks! Anthony
jhnstcks
Yes Prestashop can do this, there is a showcase option that turns off the cart, add-to-cart buttons etc. You will have to make sure that the theme that is used is v1.4 compatible otherwise the showcase feature may not be available.

Mike Kranzler
Hi anthonyhull, Just to expand on jhnstcks answer, the option you will be looking for is called "Catalog Mode." You can either set it this way during installation, or through your Back Office under Preferences > Products. I hope this helps! -Mike
