eddieuk
Hi,Every time I try and setup URL rewriting it messes up my CMS.It changes the directory to a fictional "Content" folder and the links to the pages don't work.Does anyone know how to fix this?I have followed the instructions:"If you turn on this feature, you must rename the .htaccess.txt file to .htaccess"My hosting company says that URL rewriting is supported on my server. Thanks

first1
eddieuk meant the /public_html or www directory as opposed to (for example) public_html/prestashop/so it has to be in the main root dir.if you access your shop as www.domain.com/prestashop then it is not in the root dir by default.but if you access it as www.domain.com then it is and then we should try to help you further
