fancydressqueen
Hi Everyone,I recently signed up to ukbanners and inserted a small banner from them into my homepage using home text editor. I then had my custom banner approved and they sent me a new paragraph of code to replace the old one. I have tried to replace the old code with the new one but everytime I try to update it the old code appears in its place. Any ideas please? fancydressqueen
Tried it and still the same outcome. It doesn't appear to make a differance which code I use at the moment, they both seem to do the same thing. I will leave the post open though for the moment as the issue has still not been solved. fancydressqueen
Hi Everyone,Still having the same problem. I try replacing the 1st code with the 2nd code, but everytime it returns to the original:1st Code:<!-- Start of ukbanners code --> <!-- End of ukbanners code -->2nd Code:<!-- Start of ukbanners code --> <IFRAME SRC="http://www.ukbanners.com/cgi/banners.cgi?i=1;account=B104218;page=1" WIDTH="468" HEIGHT="60" FRAMEBORDER="0" MARGINHEIGHT="0" MARGINWIDTH="0" SCROLLING="NO"></IFRAME> <!-- End of ukbanners code --> Is there any reason why inserting HTML code like this would be rejected by the Home Text Editor? I have tried clearing my history/cookies and still the code reappears. Any help would be really appreciated.Thank you.
J. Fernandes PT
I think that the problem is that the jpg. image have the same name. The browser thinks that you are using the same image and instead of pushing the image from the server, it pushes the image from the temporary folder in Windows. The jpg. image of the 2nd code must have a different name. Just add a number or a letter to it.Hope it works.
